Sounds similar to wandering village by stray fawn, except yours is in space and theirs is a walking land one. cool idea and seems fun!

MWD here, while on one of my jobs, one of the neighbouring rigs had the top drive fall onto the tool pusher and kill him immediately. Before I came to do a job on one a rig a person got electrocuted and died. A few pressurized tools being operated incorrectly exploded and injured people on neighbouring rigs as well. I'm glad I didn't deal with anything at a rig I worked on.
