Foods can be an acquired taste. It might require you trying it many times to expand your palate
Also, it sounds like you might have a lot of anxiety around food. Have you considered going to a counselor? It might be helpful

I can’t taste all of the tomatoes but my grocery store has 4 different types of tomatoes that all taste different. Same with Apples. Last two years there seems to be an explosion of new Apple types
Maybe things are going in a better direction

I read that cholesterol in your diet doesn’t really have an effect. Is that wrong?
