I'll clarify questions 4. By contamination, I mean water catching on fire as a result of fracking, as is often contended by local residents that are up in arms against the industry.

EDIT: I realize the oil industry gets a lot of flack and little recognition of the real efforts made to minimize environmental impact. All it takes is one BP to set everything back 20 years. I own oil stocks and I have no moral or ethical issue with it.
