I just have a heard time believing anyone that works for the oil company after all the tricks that have been played to try to get people to not believe in global warming. I know time magazine had a article on how they would pay anyone with a PHD to write a paper against global warming. They did not care if it was true or not, a gynecologist wrote a paper and then came out and wrote what he did.

Thank you for doing the AMA I have been watching your story for a long time now. What do you think needs to be done on both sides to allow them to get along, or do you think religion and the secular community can't get along?

I do agree with you saying that the atheist community needs to stop viewing the religious community as stupid. I know for myself and other people I know it's the willful ignorance that is so upsetting. The YEC, or the people killing their kids because they would rather faith heal than take their kid to a doctor, or try to force other people to follow their belief. These are the areas I am ok with calling their beliefs stupid and will not be nice to these people as I see they need to be attacked. The liberal religious they are fine and I am more than happy to let them be, and the more we expose the hardcore religious for what they really are the more the liberal religious seem to understand they need to do something about them also.
