You got lucky that you were. Good on you for doing something so awesome. If/when the time comes for me to give one of mine to my wife I am ready to do it. A little pain on my part to greatly improve her quality of life is so worth it.

Bitcoin has seen very big growth recently and it looks appealing. They have some serious issues though. If you wanted to look into it r Bitcoin is pro core and r btc is pro fork to put it in the simplest way. It looks like core is really going to be Bitcoins downfall if things don't change soon.
You could also check out ethereum. If you do you will notice a huge crash yesterday that recovered well. That is somewhat common with cryptocurrency.

What kind of dialysis are you on? My wife has done both. Peritoneal is much better in our opinion. She has had 4 kidney transplants. It's a tough road. I wish you the best.

My wife has esrd and has had 3 transplants. Two from living and one from deceased. Have you had any family members willing to get tested and possibly donate a kidney?

Blood family are usually easier matches for giving organs. Did her blood family get tested or offer up one of theirs? My wife was born with juvenile pkd and has had three kidney transplants. Her dad refused to get tested because "he has a new family to worry about".
