I don't buy this for a second. I used to work in psychiatry and participated in administering ECT treatments. Retrograde amnesia is a very well known side effect and is always explained in detail to the clients, who, by the way were only selected to undergo ECT because pharmacological management was ineffective. ECT would never be done on someone with situational depression FYI and Ive seen amazing results on BP1s with catatonia.
