This is really impressive. Is your organization composed entirely of expats/Westerners like you or do you hire locals?

Do you sterilize both male and female dogs or just one sex?

Have the stray dogs in the community gotten any friendlier over time as people are educated on how to treat and care for them?

My mom and I were in the same situation in my senior year of high school. It was so hard for both of us, but especially hard for her. She worked her ass off to get the job she has, but a divorce and the death of her boyfriend took their toll on her and some responsibilities were swept under the rug, which resulted in us living in a motel with one bed that we shared, a mini fridge, and a tiny bathroom with barely any room between the toilet and the shower.

I never blamed her, though. It was an unfortunate situation, but she's my mom and I love her. There were tears shed, but never any blame put on her. I hope your kids are the same and know how hard you're trying to support them.

Now we have a wonderful home that she rents. She supports my grandpa and my sister and her new baby, and sends me to college. Honestly, she's a badass. You can be too. Know that there's hope and you can bring yourself out of this situation (but help, if you can find it, shouldn't be turned down).

It sounds like you need to try looking for a new job, or maybe you can rise in the ranks of the job you have now. My mom has a college education but not a degree, and she's doing really well for herself. I wish I could offer more advice, but I only know what I know from watching my mom.

Good luck! Try hard and be a good person. I'm rooting for you.
