Nope, usually not the same bin. Depending on how the engines are mounted, they're either in first or last bin. We keep them separate, just like the mail for the most part. Can't have any dead animals.
Please remember to give them food/water, and if need be, sedate them. They get scared so easily and usually piss/shit themselves and are terrified when they get off.

10 years job history, all school history, 10 years residence, fingerprinting, and a piss test. I hate going through that. Then you have to do it again for customs, and then ups/FedEx.

This. I'm also a ramper out of DTW. I've had dogs come off of an ICN flight, scared to death, covered in piss/shit, and looked like they wanted to die. It's so sad.
