I really don't understand how you resist the temptation to rip his throat out, I fully believe in non violence too but that's why I find the thought of someone taking a loved ones life for their cause truly maddening. How do you feel about the early release of prisoners too? Do you think 14years is enough for killing 5 people?

Peace is the way and your forgiveness is admirable. It's a shame the cycle continues in this country with friends and family having to check under their cars every morning because of murderous men that still believe violence is justified.
