Haha I once trained for customer service for credit cards about a decade ago.

We served both Canada and the U.S - Our U.S cards didn't have chip while our Canadian cards did.

A guy who just moved from France asked "but if there's no pin, how do you complete your purchase?"

I said that they sign the receipt - he burst out laughing. I'm talking non-stop giggles he thought it was so hilarious, couldn't believe it.

Does it even happen that someone who paid for their ticket don't get a seat? What do you do in such a case?
