There are slight differences. Syrian Shawarma is something puristic, it contains only chicken, pickled cucumber and garlic sauce I believe. Lebanese contains additionally lettuce, tomato and pickled radish. Tbh I prefer the Lebanese one, though I'm probably alone with this, conaisseurs say Syrian Shawarma is the real thing.

I don't think so. Downvoted for nitpicking which adds absolutely no valuable information. That somebody had to pay for it is rather obvious, I can't imagine anyone not knowing that.
