My loans are through Fedloan and AES...you call them both, they'll send you an application, you provide proof of income (tax return, W-2, or something along those lines) and they'll review...I only make 30k and my school loans are 147k (undergrad +grad) with interest accruing daily. My 'payments' are 0.00 and they count as payments. I'm pretty sure private loans do not allow this to happen.

Being German, what is your take on how germans are usually stereotyped/portrayed in American films, i.e., as the bad guy, or very straightforward/straightlaced individuals, heavy drinkers, etc. etc.
