How have your medical team supported you? Is there anything that nurses/cna's have done that has had a positive impact? I'm a cna looking to train as a nurse and I'm always interested in how I can improve my interactions patients with conditions like yours.
I'm sorry you've got to deal with all of this.

I love this way of thinking, it helps you to deal with the shit life throws at you. It means you can move forward instead of dwelling on all the 'what if's'.

I wasn't even 10 years old on 09/11/01, but I remember sitting in front of our TV in the UK, unable to comprehend what was going on.
My question is, what kind of training were you given for a potential terrorist attack? Did it even come close to preparing you for what you witnessed on 9/11?
I'd just like to say that you, and all the other men and women who were involved in the rescue and aid of those affected have my greatest and utmost respect.
Thank You.

Hello Sir, I was wondering, what were conditions like in Burma? I know you ended up in Palestine, but my Grandfather fought in Burma; I sadly never really got the chance to talk to him about it and I was wondering if you knew much about it. Also, what kind of training did you recieve before being sent abroad?
Thank you for doing this AMA, and thank you for your service, words fail to express my gratitude and admiration.
