Very good advice. As in, often in a relationship it feels like you're giving more and the other party's passive. It's not a zero sum game, it's not a transaction. You'll always be at odds if you're keeping score. I like it and thanks.

Do you have any basic advice for others who have become disabled, how to get through/accept it and learn how to go on with your life, whatever limits it may have?

The unconditional love of a dog is awesome.

And hobbies, keep yourself active no matter what, that's awesome too. Frankly those are about the only keys I do to keep living, see what happens next!
