I had a visually impaired guy come to my work a few years ago to give a demonstration of what using the internet was like for him. It made such an impression on me, I've become militant in my use of proper alt text, both fur myself and others I train.

How do you get cops to stop using guns in those situations, and instead defuse potential confrontation by other means? What's the biggest obstacle you have to overcome in getting then to think/act otherwise?

What do you think Facebook will evolve into? Do you think it'll still be quite dominant for some time to come? Or wane in dominance the way Microsoft did when Apple came into its own?
