Good point yeah they obviously saw it. Must be a reason they ignored it... maybe they don't remember, or can't share, or it's just a lame story and they want to keep the suspense.

I empathize but I don't think I'd mind. I'd probably think it's kind of cool. I do keep my car clean and keep my dishes more clean than my roommates do but I've been known to be less grossed out than my friends about certain things. Like I was the one to clean up the poop outside the movie theatre where we worked one time. Not to argue with you about this but I just imagine it's a matter of subjectivity. I imagine hearing men spitting everywhere to be kind of like hearing birds chirp or frogs croak, heh, one of the sounds of nature.

The sexism, corruption and racism would bother me as well. It sounds shitty, man.

edit: Side Note: I just find it interesting people are bothered by things like this. I read from a guy on Reddit the other day who farted in what was about to become an orgy. Everyone got upset and started accusing each other and denying it. Mood dwindled, orgy never happened. I think I would laugh if someone farted during sex and then still be in the mood (as long as it was a one time thing!).

As they say (no one really says this, but I do), "Sometimes the best way to understand people is to realize how their perspective is so different from your own." I think I should accommodate people who are grossed out by such and such but I personally don't feel that way. If I know something has germs then it will gross me out (like my roommates leaving their dishes on the counter overnight) but if I know it doesn't then it doesn't bother me. Not to go on about myself but it's a topic I've been considering recently. I suppose I should consider and care about it since people around me tend to care about it too.

What kind of advice do you have for someone looking to buy a sweater? Is there a certain material that has some pro or con? Are there different levels of 'bang for your buck' in terms of material or manufacturing style? Is there a brand you personally appreciate or a style or material you find suits you?
