This was in an article from January based on an investigation made from an institution under the ministry of justice so it seems pretty legit.

Accidentally commented the answer above this but you can check it there. I lived in a no-go zone in Gothenburg for nine years until recently and can't say I've ever felt unsafe there. But I do beleive the increase is correct, even if a perception of safety can be based on a lot if different things

Well as I said I never personally felt unsafe there. I lived near Vårväderstorget so I did if course not miss all the shootings. But the main thing that worried me is I was living with a friend with some medical issues and one thing that is true is that an ambulance wont come without a police escort, at least on nights.

And well it is still called a no-go zone even if it is by the media. Sorry if I was oversimplifying by not using quationmarks.

As someone blw noted I should have answered the question better before. Its only 12% that says the extent of them feeling unsafe makes them restrict their movement in their living area. (I'm don't have the full poll but I did answer a similar poll made by brå 2years ago and that was how the question was written at that time; do you feel unsafe? Do you fell unsafe in your living area? If so do you restrict your movement in any way because of it).

Based on a local poll there (I think it was made by a newspaper but still) where people are asked to grade on a scale from 1-6, 1 being they feel safe the new study landed at 1,4. An increase from last year from 1,37

Also my sister lives near there and says she had never seen a problem with safety in Lund
