2. How did you arrange visas for places such as Saudi Arabia (which only issues business visas) or Turkmenistan (which is extremely hard to get a visa for)?

I wouldn't put this burden on anyone, especially my own child.

I never heard of them having to do anything more than just ask for it.

You can drop any amount of debt as long as there's nothing for debt collectors to repossess. If you hide your cash in a bank vault or an offshore account, or simply have no money at all, there's little sense for you to keep paying your debt.
