For my situation, I was the homemaker and my wife was a middle manager, she has Hemicrania Continua and Functional Neurological Disorder. She went out of work having 200+ seizures a day and did not have a paycheck for 3 months that started the debt, then SSDI paid so little that her medical care had to be put on credit cards. Now we are underwater severely but stopped the hole getting deeper. Texas does not allow a spouse to care for his disabled wife with pay, but she needs constant care. Then IF I work we lose a lot of the SSDI... We lose or lose. What should a family like this do?
