Most dealerships have internet salesmen. I tell them I want the car for X price and will be there today to come pick it up. If they say gfy, then I just email the next dealer. Waste of time actually going in person first.

I've gotten good results with the Earsoft Level chrome extension when selecting the smallest range. Works great for this.
