So, another rather invasive question I guess... Does this mean that the straight men you sleep with have to deal with your not having a vagina? I'm gay, so I totally get and enjoy dick-on-dick action, I just can't imagine a straight guy knowing what to do in that situation?

I just recently moved to Ireland, and as I'm slowly coming to terms with being gay, Ireland has been HUGE for me. Canada is great and all, but you still get a lot of "not in my back yard" attitude towards guys kissing, or just lots of kind of offensive gay jokes. Here, there's loads of gay jokes, but they're more inclusive ones, and most people don't seem to bother to assume your sexuality, they'll just treat you as bi until you correct them lol. And then my first time making out with a dude in a bar, nobody cared and it was great....

Do you speak the language?

"in fact consider it to be a sort of "blessing" in that you get immediately brought into a group of individuals much like yourself "

This resonated with me as a gay guy. A lot of people seem to see it that way, but I really don't. The gay community exists and can be great for a lot of people, but I'm no more privileged for being born into that club than out of it.
