What are your thoughts on additive manufacturing. What would you like to see changed or what would be something useful to be developed by it?

Currently I am an ME working for an additive manufacturing service company where we print both metal and plastic parts. In my free time, when I'm not working on my masters, I design implants such as jaws and knees.
