May I ask how you are learning the language? My SO is Oneida, and I want to have resources available for future children.

Not OP, but First Nations is used primairly in Canada, Native American in the US, both are fine to use.

Aboriginal is mostly used for native Australians, or in anthropology

"Indian" is in a gray area, most people use it, even though Christopher Colombus is a moron and thought HispaƱola (Haiti/Dominican Republic) was India.

The last two are racial slurs

You can get your blood tested (titers) to check your immunity. This is what I did

I think their "scheduling" was different, so some people did not get booster shots, when now it is recommended

There are several product design philosophies, but two relevant ones here:

Cradle to grave

Cradle to Cradle

Cradle to grave focus on the product's life cycle from manufacture/sourcing to its eventual disposal

Cradle to cradle is from manufacture to repurpose/reuse

If there are no sufficient recycling programs or ways for the product to avoid disposal, then the consumer only has one choice: trash. The consumer has some power, but really it is up to industry to provide the product and infrastructure in order to dispose of less waste
