What was your normal mileage in a hiking day? I'm preparing to hike it summer of 2017.

Nice! I don't have a ton of time to do it, so I'm planning on averaging 20-25 mile per day with minimal off days. I've had a decent amount of backpacking experience and plan to go with a rather minimal pack. What were some things that you took that you didn't really use and what were some things that you didn't take but really wish you had with you?
