If you could give any advice to yourself at age 18, what would it be?

Thanks for doing this AMA. Being in a prisoner camp like that must have been absolutely horrible and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You mentioned else that the will to survive was prevalent within the camp; what do you think was the biggest motivator for you and your peers to hold on to hope in the face of such adversity?
