Did you have a chance to talk with the refugees in the camp? What was their reason for displacement? How did the overall structure of the camp work, exactly?

I just want to say thank you for looking out for your diabetic patients. It's a hell of a rollercoaster and a trip to the ER for me means that self-care hasn't worked or something failed (bad insulin, kinked pump site that I didn't catch in time, sickness that led to a high BG that I can't get down... 6-8 hours of that sends you straight to DKA and hurling). I've never had anything but amazing care from ER staff in my area and just... thank you. Without people doing what you do I and many others would be long gone by now.
