I think he should do computer sicence. A lot of self taught programmers don't have proper programming etiquette. Not trying to undermine this guys accomplishments, but you actually don't need that much programming knowledge to develop an app or a website. There is so much more to learn in the computer science than just app development so the better path would be compsci.
