The late night talk show field has gotten really overcrowded over the past ten years. What used to be just Jay followed by Conan vs. Dave, has become Jay followed by Jimmy followed by Carson Daly (lol, you've left your TV on and fallen asleep) vs. Dave followed by Ferguson vs. You vs. Stewart and Colbert vs. Conan vs. Chelsea Lately...

Is this a concern to you and the other executive producers? What are some of the ways your show tries to stand out among this crowded field?

MCPS is literally one of the best public school systems in the country, and Maryland ranks at or near the top for education consistently, so I don't know how or why you'd qualify it as "abysmal"?

Thanks for doing this AMA, Governor O'Malley. I'm involved in the live arts scene in Baltimore and have seen firsthand the city's desire for growing this community. As I'm sure you know, a vibrant arts scene is great news for the entire economy around it, and often can be an integral part of an entire area's revitalization. However, I have been disappointed to find that a disproportionate amount of the state's focus on arts funding has been toward retaining the big ticket productions (specifically, House of Cards) rather than homegrown Maryland theatre, art, music, dance, or film companies. Granted, I know that House of Cards and Veep and these high visibility shows do provide a lot of jobs and exposure for Maryland, but unless they have a 'Law & Order' amount of seasons, they will end in a couple years or so, and unless we're fostering the creativity of Maryland filmmakers and film studios, those jobs may go with it. How do you intend in your last few months as Governor to help fund and grow the arts communities of Baltimore and Maryland, and how would you advise your successor to prioritize this?

Hi Todd,

2 questions:

What's a show or podcast you haven't appeared on yet that you'd most like to appear on?

Pussy?

Thanks for being awesome and so confidently your singular self (this is a compliment).
