I meant on the main page there are no winter pictures. Obviously Christmas in svalbard has lots of them!

Awesome! No winter pictures on that site :-D One thing that concerns me: can I bring a pistol for personal protection? I understand the wildlife there can be pretty ... wild (supported by the pictures) :-D

That's too bad. I'm a United States citizen, so I have some guns and carry them on my person regularly. Hearing of a place that requires firearms to travel abroad sounds like no problem, but the devil's in the details.
