This is a difficult question, I feel, because for most people all of that is just so far away. Even in people's own countries, when you're happen thousands of miles/km away it is a complicated situation. I live in the Eastern part of China (I'm from US) and it feels like that part is just another country itself. I've never been anywhere close to it and it isn't remotely present in daily life.
