Why is there no government official even willing to sit down and negotiate some type of help for the chronic pain patient? Aren't there ways we could help the chronic pain patients while still helping the government's war against heroin?

Dr. Webster, when do you foresee the government doing anything to help chronic pain patients who are now going from functioning to bedbound due to discontinuance of their pain meds?

And by the way, YOU were the one who said heroin users are referred to as street trash who raped babies for a living ... you said that not me. No one said they don't need help. They do ... and the government is spending a ton of money on it. There is no help for the chronic pain patient.

It is not a medical fact. There have been no studies for long term use of opioids for chronic, irretractible pain. These are safe and effective when used as directed. It's when people start taking more than directed for the "high" when the risk of addiction and "needles" come into play. It's abuse, not use.
