Is there any medication able to suppress dreams?

I am asking because I have very disturbing dreams sometimes and, more generally, I dream a lot (or I should say I remember my dreams a lot?). I end up continuously thinking about my dreams for the rest of the day and it pisses me off.

I have a (dried) water stain on my leather couch (left the window open during a rainy day...). What should I do?

is there any medication/substance/exercise that can eliminate or mitigate dreams during sleep?

I am asking since I wake always at different hours (a consequence of my job) and often it's in the middle of a dream and you know I will feel unrestend and grumpy the entire day! I take no medications, I am not overweight, I exercise but I cannot quit my job!
