Cloud should have absolutely demolished Link. What was the point in Giving Link the strongest weapon he can wield in most games then giving Cloud the Buster sword(his starter weapon, his weakest weapon) & only 2 materia? If the 2 were to really be placed on par then you should also give Cloud his strongest weapon (Ultima Weapon) & fill all 8 of that bad boys slots with the strongest materia, Stop, knights of the round, comet, Ultima, Holy, Flare Alexander just to name a few, Link wouldn't have stood a chance.

Exactly my point! They gave link his full arsenal & gave Cloud his weakest weapon & 2 materia.... They also pulled some shit out of their ass giving Link the swoardsmanship abilities of all his previous incarnations. Which has NEVER been the case, In many games other people have to actually teach Link how to use the damn thing because he's a simple farm boy! In a few games he is proficient with a sword like in Skyward Sword where he's actually in a knights academy but in most game he's just an average dude with a Sword. Cloud is a military trained super soldier....

Pretty shitty rationale Cloud also uses the Ultima weapon & the composite sword in Dissidia which imo is far better to go off of than Dysagia....

Edit: just now realizing you probably meant Dissidia. Even if thats the case why would you use noncanon games like Dissidia & Smash? In OG smash Links a toy & characters in Dissidia can basically fly. :P
