I'm an Army vet. Fought in Iraq. Honestly, I myself have been getting annoyed by all this Stolen Valor business. I don't care if people dress in cammies and go paint balling or airsofting. But what riles me up at times is that some people decide to pretend to be a serviceman. They'll go around saying they fought in Iraq or Afghanistan and Vietnam, when they don't understand and pain and sacrifice that went into being there. I wasn't exactly proud of deploying to Iraq in 2004, but I was proud of donning the uniform to fight alongside my brothers-in-arms and be in the service. And on top of that, there were a significant number of them who would start receiving benefits for something they did not do. Lying and basically stealing. We have troops who were disabled and need all the assistance they can get, yet these impostors go around telling people they have PTSD and were injured in the war and take advantage. We're talking upwards to tens of thousands of dollars of not hundred thousand. And they are not just taking advantage of us gets but just regular civilians as well.

The North already has tens of thousands of artillery batteries and missiles aimed at Seoul alone (which has more than 30% of the entire SK population I thin). Plus we have no idea how many agents and commandos have infiltrated in the population. The North would definitely be wiped out in a couple weeks by a joint U.S. and SK attack, but the initial strike would result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of SK civilians. Also, the guerilla fight waged by the regime's loyal remnants would be costly.

This is extremely interesting but the security sensitivity nature of this post really worries me. I was a soldier too and wary about giving out too many OPSEC (operational security) details. 좀 더 신중하세요 ;

Hey, sir. Former Sergeant with 1st Cav. OIF 2004-2005. I was a young specialist back then and had a blog running myself and was shut down after my Top was told by the BC to get me to stop. I think mostly for criticizing the war, despite the fact I was still going in patrols and doing my part. I never revealed the routes and some of the pictures I posted were too vague to get any Intel out of it. But I noticed a mysterious commenter would ask me certain questions and probe me for some info. I let a small piece of info slip and the next day I was called in. You think it was MI that was keeping tabs on my internet activity?
