What are some common misconceptions you would the rest of the world to know?

Amazing travel documentary! What a beautiful experience. My question is, what is something you wish you had done differently on the trip or something you might of regretted not doing?

Have you always been able to support yourself as a film maker even in the early days? Or did you work several jobs to keep your dream alive?
