As someone who isn’t a “pot guy” what potency should I be looking for to help with sleep?

My father survived for 27 years on hemo dialysis. The biggest issues are clotting and running out of veins. He would have survived longer, but one of his medicines (no longer produced) destroyed his heart. He also had a huge issue when his drugstore who will remain nameless, but has lovely GREEN WALLS, gave him the wrong medicine.
