Hello all the way from Australia Suzuki-San.

Firstly, thank you for making all of my childhood dreams finally come true. Shenmue was a very special part of my growing up, and has been a favourite game to me throughout my whole life. In 2008, I was 19, and was diagnosed with cancer, and as a result was shut in isolation for a very long time, and in that time I replayed all of my childhood games, and Shenmue took me back to a time when life was simpler, and filled me with joy in a time I needed it most. One day I wish to be able to thank you in person, and have you sign my Shenmue game.

My question to you is, did you ever see something of yours hold such an incredible hold over the gaming community the way that it has?

My girlfriend was shocked when the Kickstarter happened, because she said to me 'Wow, you're not the only person who likes that Shenmue game', because it seemed to have such a small cult following in the grand scheme of things, and yet here we are, millions of dollars raised in such a small time, to finally see the continuation and hopefully conclusion to this incredible story.

Congratulations on everything you've done, and again, thank you for bringing tears to my eyes for something that many people will never understand.
