Think of it like this. You're trying to provide a great experience for your guests. Well, that starts the moment they visit your website not when then step foot onto your property. I would absolutely take everyone up on helping improve the online experience.

Yes, they go on to say that the better strategy is to praise "effort" instead. They have a great example of a study where to classes are given a test. The first is prepped beforehand with a module about how the brain is like a muscle and that, essentially, practice and hard work actually makes you smarter. The other control class is simply given the tests. You can guess which class scores higher.

Hi Rebecca, I wanted to know if you've read NurtureShock by Ashley Merryman and Po Bronson? In that book they talk about over praising children and how the downstream impact seems to be a fear of failure and subsequent lack of effort and risk taking. What are your thoughts on this and do you believe it fugures in to any of your patients?
