I feel you. I am in a pre-diagnostic stage right now, currently bring transfered to a Bipolar specialist. My first thought was 'can I ever be a good mother?' I have always wanted kids, but this makes me question everything.

After fighting for adequate treatment since October due to wait times, I was due to see a Bipolar specialist in April. Now this treatment is likely to be postponed or online due to the virus. Do you have any advice on managing bipolar (most likely type 2) in these turbulent times without treatment?

I am recently diagnosed with Bipolar 1 and stuck in a nasty depression. I live in a different country than my parents, currently I cannot travel home due to Covid. My parents have been really struggeling to accept and understand my disorder.

How can I make it easier for the people around me to understand my moods and cope with seeing the extreme ups and downs they see me go through?
