I was under the impressions the judged had a small taste before the food got cold and then went in to the deep dive on the critique but I could be wrong. I believe the contestants are told not to worry about their dishes getting cold / warming up (in the case of ice cream/etc) and they won't be judged on that aspect of things.

Why would three crew members 'bang open the door' when there is a hidden latch that allows you to just unlock it from the outside?

I remember every wheelchair I've ever sold Mr. Beckerwp. The phoenix whose tailfeather resides in your wheelchair gave another feather, just one other. It is curious that you should be destined for this wheelchair....

Doesn't the airline also get to claim the time they push back from the gate as their departure time?

I believe the judges taste all of the dishes before going in to the deep dive critique of everything. I've read far too much about Chopped and recall that they tell participants not to worry about the food holding temperature (i.e. no one could do ice cream because if they were second to be judged, the ice cream is ruined.)
