LCDs display light as different intensities at three wavelengths. Purple might be X intensity blue and Y intensity red.
Real purple in nature is probably a spectrum of wavelengths all shorter than blue.
IIRC the glasses work by wavelength shifting so I'm not surprised it doesn't work properly for LCDs as opposed to the real colors.

You've talked a lot about how farms pollute water supplies with run off. Why isn't there a bigger push to remove the exemption for agricultural runoff from RCRA? The fact that this obviously hazardous waste is explicitly left off is why you can't do anything to stop it.

Glad you brought up that part of your website. It is so damn unprofessional to use snips from word. Like come on you can see the spell check red underline on some of the company names. Like at least turn off spell check or render to a PDF then do it. I would also recommend having the images be rendered out larger and then downsized via HTML. That way the details wouldn't look blurry & shit at large resolutions (I'm at 1080p and they're ok, but if I had 2k or 4k they wouldn't)

The only issue with silicone is that of bioaggregation. The random proteins in your blood just love to stick to it which could potentially form a clot. (A lot of research is done into coatings for silicone based implants in order to remedy this).
