Not OP but I’d argue facial/skull contouring and bunion removal.

Edit: It’s definitely fair to say that in a lot of cases bunion removal is not a cosmetic procedure. In other cases it can be, with the caveat that it does legitimately help with fitting into more shoes even if pain isn’t a significant concern. Here’s a link if anyone’s curious on reading more into it: https://www.hmpgloballearningnetwork.com/site/podiatry/blogged/bunionectomy-ever-purely-cosmetic-procedure?amp

Something I’m interested in is a sort of “bypass” that would read information from one side of a severed spinal cord and send it to stimulate the other side. Is this the approach being considered for curing paralysis? If so, what are some obstacles that this solution may face? Is there an issue with precision of measuring neural activity and then stimulating others in the same way?

Sorry I’m not following… In relation to contouring or bunion removal? I’m just answering OP’s question with what I think could be considered comparable cosmetic surgeries.

What’s the optimal amount of sleep to get per night? In the past I heard 8, and now I hear it’s 8 and 1/2. Is sleeping too much per night just as bad as sleeping too little? Thanks!
