You got a choice of meals? I have been hospitalized twice (although the first time was not long enough for a real meal), but the second time they just brought me food and it was that food or no food... (editted: a word)

I know it sounds a bit harsh but sometimes there is nothing you can do until the person that needs to lose weight recognizes it for themselves. You can try to help with the little things though. I don't know how old your brother is but if you live together, it might be possible to keep the bad food out of the house all together. Hope it works out :)
