I was born in Sweden - my American parents lived there for a couple years a long time ago. They didn't have a crib, so my mom cleaned out a drawer, and that's where I slept.

You've mentioned several times in this thread that everything is passed down orally / can't be found online, and you've also expressed the desire that your history could be better known / understood --- so don't you think writing down your history and sharing it would be helpful toward this?

Maybe the better question is why is there an aversion (if there is- sorry if this comes off as offensive, it is genuinely not intended to be) to writing down your stories and history?
