Pray, how will term limits do anything to improve the situation? I feel as if you are pandering here, because term limits have proven unsuccessful. Take California, for example: Hyper partisanship, perpetual legislative gridlock, and an inability to maintain institutional memory. Plus, when you limit the number of terms an incumbent can serve, you only increase their incentive to listen to those who fill campaign coffers. On the whole, your solution is to throw away institutional memory, and really to invite an easy way to corrupt politicians making the system defeat your original goal, all because some campaigns are not run well. If you are that passionate about it, would you pledge to impose term limits of say three terms?

What is the NFLPA's relationship toward other unions, and more generally toward unions in general? Is the NFLPA active in helping promote labor rights beyond the football field? (e.g. letters of support of pro-labor legislation.) Do administrative members of the NFLPA come from a labor background? I ask because it seems like a large disconnect would exist between the membership of the NFLPA and say, the local iron workers.
