I wanted to chime in and commend you for the Nerdist appearance as well. I circulated that episode widely in my social media groups. It contains some of the funniest and most honest treatment of the issue of mental illness I've ever heard.

Even as a person who suffers depression, I continue to struggle with that strange dualism where I can't quite shake that physical diseases like cancer are different than mental diseases. I know I'm a douche if I tell someone to "get over" their broken leg, but vaguely justified in blaming someone for not handling their anxiety attacks. Your conversation with Chris solidified that I need to continue to remove that difference from my thinking. It's all meat.
