They don't log by default, so the audits and that story aren't in conflict. But if their country's laws force them to do something, they're gonna do it. Or they won't be a company for very long.

I am sure you would, just like most people would like their gold back that Nixon seized. The government isn't generally in the business of giving any fucks about unfair seizure of property or money.
