I don't think it is necessarily bad to think "nature is neutral," because it helps people realize there's no such thing as karma or some omnipotent being guiding the course of our actions. We must take responsibility.
At the same time, ethics and morals are different things, but there is some overlap. Sometimes both morals and ethics agree to such things as killing people is "wrong", because it harms society, it harms a person for no justifiable reason.
Sometimes ethics and morals disagree, for example killing your daughter is wrong ethically, but killing your daughter to bring honor to your family is morally acceptable to somebody subscribed a certain culture or religion. There's a saying that morals are like fashion, it changes with the times.

Pretty sure that was a tongue-in-cheek response from /u/seafood10 but yeah, it's pretty frightening to see the difference in words and actions.
