  1. What hardware and programming language(s) are signals built with?

  2. How do you coordinate two separate lights to interact together? (Example: two parallel roads close to one another, separated by a parallel train track, the other light knows that it can't just allow through traffic whenever it wants, and also if it is allowing through traffic, the other light must also be green so traffic doesn't accrue on / near the tracks)
