There have been some pictures of sections of the wall falling over, do you think that is a design issue or a construction issue? How can it withstand car impacts if a Stiff wind gets it?

I suppose I sympathize with his treatment in solitary confinement, but as to his actions preceding that, he deserves a very harsh sentence.

He knew exactly what he was doing. he knew it was wrong. He knew it could endanger people's lives. Like you said, he was trained over and over about this exact thing. I can't believe people are saying he should be set free.

Concern over his possible mistreatment is another matter, it was not mishandling of his case and thus grounds for dismissal. I know our view point isn't the popular one, but it's all good.

I'm interested in this as well. It seems like a very reasonable stance on its face, standing up against institutional problems. But, as with most activist organizations, there are militant wings, for lack of a better term. Some try to argue they represent BLM and BLM instigates violence against police.

I haven't read much regarding BLM and have only seen some of the news coverage since I don't live in areas getting large scale protests.

I did my masters thesis on the ability to measure internally digested radionuclides using normal TLD badges modeled in mcnp and ran a university undergrad nuke lab and lectured. I left the field 12 years ago to become a radiologist because of a lot of reasons but some are was the glacial pace of upgrading our reactors to gen IV or even improved gen III Reactors, lack of reprocessing of our stockpile of reactor fuel and overall political, financial and cultural stalemate on nuclear.

What gives you hope for the future of nuclear energy now? Is anything actually more promising than 1 or 2 decades ago?

Also, what is your scintillating material made from and what is the detector volume and efficiency?
